The Houses
Each house has a different configuration, being two lofts with mezzanine, a single storey house and a storey with the room upstairs. All have kitchen, bathroom, living room with sofa bed and bedroom with double bed.

A dream come true!
So are Casinhas da Julieta, managed with affection by Juliet and Victoria, mother and daughter who fell in love with Morro de São Paulo and today they receive visitors with every comfort in four houses well decorated and equipped.
Surrounded by greenery and with a lot of tranquility, the Casinhas da Julieta are close to everything: beaches, lighthouse, village, bars and restaurants and the pier.
Here we speak English, Spanish and Portuguese and, besides receiving them, we also help with tips and sales of tours around the region.

We are located in a quiet and green area. To get to the little houses there is a staircase, as we are on a hillside in the center of Morro de São Paulo. See the pictures.

Hermoso lugar, cómodo para 2 personas , con todo lo necesario para una estadía confortable y una gran vista. A pocos metros de la plaza principal y unos 15 min caminando hasta las playa 2.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Casinhas da Julieta for a week. The place was clean, kitchen was fully equipped and had aircon. The location is great, 80 metres to the main square, close to the port and really good restaurants close to the property. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the amazing Island.

La verdad la pasamos genial ésta semana en el departamento, muy serviciales y con la mejor onda siempre desde el primer minuto en la isla. Te hacen sentir cómo en tu casa, te tiran toda la info q necesitas saber para ahorrar un poco y pásala de 10. Cómo toda la isla ahí que subir escaleras y bajar, ésta no es una excepción pero el personal se encarga de toda tus cosas cracks.. volveremos sin dudas

Excelente lugar para ficar, ambiente completo com sala, quarto, banheiro, cozinha completa com eletrodomésticos e acessórios, super limpo e organizado, recepção dos anfitriões é espetacular. Recomendo o lugar, muito tranquilo e com uma vista maravilhosa para a mata e para o mar, o contato com a natureza é uma experiência sem explicação de tão maravilhosa, ouvir o canto dos pássaros ao acordar é incrível. Com certeza é um local para se descansar com conforto.

Morro de São Paulo: how to get here
Morro de São Paulo is on Tinharé Island and there are three ways to get here.
Option 1. By boat from the Maritime Terminal - Salvador
This route is carried out in approximately 2h/2h30min, by motorboats or catamarans.
This is the most used form of transportation for the Salvador/Morro/Salvador crossing. There are 03 companies that operate this route. Even so, the boats leave always crowded in the summer and holidays, being necessary to reserve well in advance to guarantee place.
In case of bad weather, the boats are unable to cross the sea and the route is made via connection, in this way the trip is divided into 03 parts: sea + land + river. Travel time increases and can take up to 4 hours.
Option 2. Via Connection or Semi Terrestrial
The trip is performed as follows:
- Departure from the Airport or Hotel to the Maritime Terminal.
- Ferryboat from the Maritime Terminal of the Mercado Modelo to Itaparica Island (40 min trip).
- From Itaparica Island, take the Van or Micro-bus to Ponta do Curral (Valença) (1:30 am).
- From Ponta do Curral, follow to Morro by boat (15 min trip).
- The indicated travel times are approximate and can be changed in case of traffic jams on the road, or bad weather at sea.
- A guide will accompany the group throughout the journey.
- There is possibility of extra hours, see information.
- Each passenger is responsible for transporting their luggage from one vehicle to another.
Option 3. By Air Taxi
Two air taxi companies make this route. The journey time is approximately 20 min.
The aircraft are small, with capacity for 5 to 14 people. To guarantee a place, reservations should be made as far in advance as possible.
